Hi

If you are a member of the free/paid advertising exchange at www.entrecard.com you may know we are a familiar site there? My partner Paul is an artist himself, I know exactly how difficult it is to make a living as an artist and it is vital that artists receive public exposure to build up a following. I created ArtShout.net in order to help artists like Paul do the same, receive free exposure for their art. I used a popular photo blog script and feature new art almost every day.

After what must be over 6 months Entrecard they have suddenly decided my blog isn’t a blog and illegally deleted both my blog and even my whole account in order that I cannot complain at the forum. My partner has contacted many blogs at the Entrecard community on my behalf and fingers crossed with enough pressure they will reinstate ArtShout.

What sickens me most is that I am convinced that their decision is based more upon the fact that I have now set up an ad exchange for artists, it would be so petty if they do consider this competition, it is merely for artists, very small and new and of no threat. However even if it was there is no reason for them to delete my blog!

If you have enjoyed the art featured at ArtShout and even received exposure for your own art then please show your support in one of two ways.

1) Email support@entrecard.com including the subject “User ID: 51607″ and complain about this highly unfair treatment.

2) Write a quick post on your blog and mention our plight.

To all those who have supported the blog so far my sincerest thanks, let’s hope that democracy works!

Regards

Chris
